Monitors and LCD's can offer a lasting impression of your
business. How a customer sees information presented by you can
be as important as the information itself. Choosing the right
monitor or LCD for your office or home can be a challenge.
With so many Manufacturers, so many models to choose from, a
decision can often be difficult to say the least.
Important things to know:
CRT vs. LCD: A CRT monitor is the large bulky style
monitor that many of us are familiar with. It is very similar
to a television in that it requires a picture tube. The type
of tube can alter clarity and resolution. LCD monitors are the
new stylish monitors that require very little desk space.
Liquid Crystal Digital displays use slightly different specs.
One important note, when comparing CRT monitors to LCD is the
"Viewable" picture. For example, a 17" CRT monitor contains a
15.9" viewable picture while a 15" LCD contains a 15" Viewable
display.
